SFF8087 to 4x SFF8482 and 3.3v issue

Is pin 3 on the HDD side driven high? I'm asking because of the power disable feature might be undesirable. See here:

    I believe what you are referring to would be the PWDIS feature (Pin 3 on SATA Power). If your intended drives do not support the PWDIS feature, then power over Pin 3 won't matter or affect the drives. If your intended drives do support the PWDIS feature, then you would need to make sure that your power supply also supports it, as our cable will simply passthrough the power pins from a SATA power cable.
