On the early original revision of DK31C3HDPD, Video 1 ports (HDMI and DP) don’t work when connected to some models of Mac. This limits the dock to 2x external displays, on Video 2 and Video 3 ports.

Updated Firmware
This issue has been resolved with updated firmware. Currently available Revision 2 units of DK31C3HDPD already have updated firmware. The firmware of original revision units can be updated using the firmware update tool available on the “Drivers/Downloads” tab of the product page for DK31C3HDPD. Instructions for updating the firmware are found within the firmware package. Please note that the firmware update tool can only be run using a Windows computer.
