# Article: Does TB4CDOCK support monitor resolutions greater than 4K and are adapters required?

Yes, when connected to a host that also supports these higher resolutions, the TB4CDOCK can support **dual monitors** with resolutions **up to 4K 60Hz** , or a **single monitor** with resolutions **up to 8K 30Hz** , 6K 60Hz, 5K 60Hz.

Depending on the video port on the monitor, supported adapter/cables like these may also be required and are not included with the dock.

- HDMI: CDP2HDMM1MH
- DVI: CDP2DVIMM1MB
- VGA: CDP2VGAMM1MB

Note: the TB4CDOCK is not currently supported on Windows-based **Thunderbolt 3** hosts.
