# NOTECONS01 authcode issue

Hello guys, Someone could help with an error (AuthCode Issue) for NOTECONS01. I reinstall the software and driver, try at another USB port and computer, same error.

Thank you for posting on the [Startech.com](http://Startech.com) Community! I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with our NOTECONS01.

Can I please ask:

- What are the make and models of the computers you’ve tested with the crash cart?
- What operating systems are being used?
- Where are you seeing this error message? Is it within the crash cart software or elsewhere? Could you perhaps provide a screenshot?
- Is this your first time using the NOTECONS01 or has it worked in the past?

This information will help us determine our next steps.

I would also like to make sure you are downloading the correct software, as it can be easy to mistakenly download the software for the NOTECONS02, which is similar but has its own software that is not compatible with NOTECONS01.
