I want to change my speaker setting to output to spdif, but there’s no arrow in the dropdown selection box. When I click on the box, I get an error message instead of options.
“SetContentSkin: failed to load content skin (C:\Program Files\Xear Audio Center\CPL\Skin\FaceLift\Resources\combobox\btn-dorpdown-se.png)!” (The hyphens in the quote are actually underscore.)
I tried downloading and reinstalling multiple times and I get the same result.
Hello @Geomantic and thank you for your interest in our Community.
Seems like the program is having some sort of display issue. Since you have already tried to reinstall it, I would recommend trying one more time but making sure to unzip the installer from the zip file, then right-click and select “Run as Administrator” to ensure nothing is being blocked during the install process.
Once it is done, you should normally be able to change the setting by clicking on “Speakers → Speaker Settings → Speaker (drop-down) → SPDIF Out”
You may also want to make sure to restart your computer between uninstall / reinstall tries and temporarily disable any 3rd party anti-virus if needed.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks, Emmanuel. I did everything as you recommended (multiple times) and now when I open the program, headphone is already selected and speakers option is grayed out and unselectable.
Hello @Geomantic ,
Could you please provide a screenshot of what you see when you right-click on the Headphone menu?
