We bought a ICUSB2328I hub about 5 years ago to read data from weighing scales into a computer, and it worked fine for that time. Recently though, the unit stopped working. When plugged into the computer it is no longer is recognized as a device. Tried updating drivers and plugging into multiple computers to no avail. The red led still turns on, but when checking with an oscilloscope the USB output I get nothing. I think it’s fair to say it died on us.
We are beyond our warranty period. Before buying a new one, I’d like to try to repair it. I’ve removed the cover and there is no obvious damage. I have a multimenter, oscilloscope and a thermal camera at my disposal for diagnostic purposes.
Could someone help me try to repair it? Thanks in advance!
