PEXUSB311AC3 MacPro2023(M2) Compatibility

Hello everybody.

I have just bought a USB PCie card PEXUSB311AC3 and installed it in my MacPro2023(M2), but the card is not recognized.
I’m trying to find out how to get it to work. 2ポート10Gbps USB-A/USB-C増設PCI Expressインターフェースカード/1x USB Type-C & 1x USB Type-A/USB 3.2 Gen 2準拠PCIe拡張カー

The OS is Ventura, so it’s compatible, but not Apple Silicon?
There doesn’t seem to be a Driver distributed, is there any way to get it to recognize it?
By the way, I checked from the system report and it doesn’t seem to recognize the card: 。。。。

Hi @Hiro

Thank you for posting on our StarTech.com Community!

I am sorry to hear you are having issues getting our PEXUSB311AC3 working with your Mac Pro. This card should be natively supported as long as the operating system on the computer is supported, which in your case, it is. And even if it was a driver related issue, I would still expect this to show up in the System Report, perhaps with some error status. I can offer some suggestions to try and troubleshoot this.

  • Make sure the PEXUSB311AC3 card is properly seated in the PCIe slot, and perhaps remove and reseat the card.
  • Try moving the PEXUSB311AC3 to a different PCIe slot in the computer.
  • Test the PEXUSB311AC3 card in a different computer all together if you have access to another one.

I would also suggest to reach out to one of our Technical Advisors directly using the Live Chat feature on our website at www.startech.com who would be able to assist further with some live troubleshooting.

If we can assist further in this matter, please don’t hesitate to reach back out!

Sincerely,
@AdamS
