StarTech ARMDUALWALL

If the monitors are rotated 90 degrees to the side, the outer edge hangs about 4 cm lower than the side near the wall. The arm is supposed to support monitors up to 5 kg. Mine weigh just under 3 kg. Why can’t the arm hold them?

I wanted to position the monitors as shown in the photo. I can’t even compensate for the height difference using the adjustment screws.

Hello @Sven,

Thank you for your interest in our Community, I am sorry to hear about the frustration with our ARMDUALWALL.

Can I please ask the models of the monitors for reference?

Could I also clarify, does the outer edge hang like this only when you rotate the arm like pictured or if you position it straight ahead does it look the same?

This information will help in determining our next steps. I look forward to hearing back from you.

There are two HP E243i monitors. When the arm is extended straight out from the wall, the monitors are level again. However, the arm droops downward. Most of the movement occurs at the joint directly at the wall mount.

Thank you for your reply.

I would like to confirm, when you were trying to use the adjustment screws, you were following the instructions on page 16 of the manual (https://sgcdn.startech.com/005329/media/sets/ARMDUALWALL_Manual/ARMDUALWALL_dual_monitor_arm_manual.pdf) as well as having a second person assist to hold the monitors in place while adjusting the position?

I adjusted the screws as shown on page 16. The arm is still sagging. The joint directly at the wall mount has the most movement. I’m really disappointed.

I am sorry to hear that you are still having difficulty with our mount and this is not the experience we want you to have. We can definitely investigate this further.

I am consulting with my team to investigate next steps and will follow up as soon as I can.
