How do I select the new added StarTech USB Bluetooth Controller on macOS 15 (Sequoia, Apple Silicon)? The modern OS GUI doesn’t seem to provide a way to select it, and I can’t find a Terminal command that will work. My thanks.

Our AV53C1-USB-BLUETOOTH is only supported with Windows and Linux operating systems, and is unfortunately not supported with MacOS, as seen in our technical specifications. If you are within the return period with where you purchased the adapter, I would recommend returning it if you do not have anywhere else that you could use it.
For an alternative adapter that would be compatible with MacOS 15, I would recommend our USBBT1EDR4. However please not that this adapter is Bluetooth 4.0 instead of 5.3 and has a maximum range of 50m (165ft).
