Hi @ilan and thank you for posting on our StarTech.com Community!
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues getting your 107B-USB-HDMI adapter working there. I will provide some troubleshooting that could help with resolving this issue.
- Ensure that you are using the latest software which you can download from our website. Here is the direct download link: https://sgcdn.startech.com/005329/media/sets/USB32HDVGA/SMI-USB-Display-Software-for-macOS.zip
- As mentioned in the installation guide included in the download, you must ensure that you allow the software within your Settings > Security and Privacy > Screen recording permission.
If both of these have been confirmed, testing the adapter on another computer is a great test to confirm if the issue is somehow related to the adapter, or computer. Depending on the outcome, I would then highly suggest reaching out to one of our Technical Advisors via our livechat who would then be able to assist further with some real time troubleshooting to assist in finding a resolution for this issue. You can find the livechat link on our website at www.startech.com.
Sincerely,
