Does the PEXUSB4DP require 12V?

I am in need of a USB 2.0 to PCIe adapter for an embedded application and will be connecting it via an M.2 adapter w/o the ability to externally supply 12V. Will I be able to run the card by only supplying +5V via the SP4 connector?
