I keep getting an Error: Self Check Failed with my SDOCK1EU3P2 HDD eraser. After the booting screen the error occurs and I can’t do anything with it. The red and green light blinks once and then the error shows up. I tried plugging it to my computer with the USB cable with an empty HDD but my computer doesn’t recognize/see the device. Anything I can try to get it back running?

I am very sorry to tell you, but the “Error: Self Check Failed” message indicates an unrecoverable failure.
