Can the SDOCK2U33RE be used to copy a HD with Multiple partions to a new HD?

Yes, the SDOCK2U33RE can be used to copy a drive that has multiple partitions to a new drive.
When using stand-alone duplicators, the unit performs a sector-by-sector clone. This means it copies the contents of the source drive at the disk level, including the partition table, boot records, file system structure, partitions, and any unused/empty space. It does not interpret the data or treat partitions separately, so it does not matter how many partitions are on the source drive.
Because of this, the target drive must be equal to or larger than the source drive’s total capacity, even if the source drive contains only a small amount of actual data. Please also note that the cloning process will overwrite the contents of the target drive.
If the target drive is larger than the source drive, the extra space may appear as unallocated space after the clone is complete, and you may need to extend an existing partition or create a new one in your operating system’s disk management utility.
