SDOCK4U33E connecting to Macbook 2024

I have multiple SATA HDDs I need to access (Data only, no Videos) so purchased the 4 Bay USB Dock SDOCK4U33E. I had hoped that with it having USB 3.1 output that it would connect to a Macbook 2024 via the USB C and allow me to see all of the HDDs on the Mac OS Finder. The connection is by the Apple USB C to USB Adapter. I have also tried an Avent AMHBCPD19 5-port USB Type-C with no success.

Sadly I can only have one HDD switched on at a time in the 4 bay dock and see it. As soon as I turn on a second HDD, Mac OS Finder loses sight of all of the HDDs.

Is there a connector I can use to see all of the HDDs at the same time or have I purchased the wrong product? Is there a software download I need ?

Thanks for any help

Hello @Exodus61 and thank you for your interest in our Community.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing. This dock uses USB Mass Storage which by default supports multiple disk, so although the connection should reset when changing drives: they should eventually all show up otherwise. Have you tried the other drives separately (to test if the other drives simply aren’t coming up)? Otherwise, are all of the drives separate individual drives and not, for example, parts of an array?

One more thing, have you tried our dock on another computer?

Thank you for your time, we look forward to hearing back from you!
