Thank you AthaT, we appreciate you digging in and verifying the error that our IT Team found!
Hello @KevinStarTech & @JACDD
We appreciate your patience with this matter.
We have updated the USB32HD2’s drivers (V. 24.01.0222.3679) to help address this specific issue. The latest drivers can be found here.
We recommend the drivers are installed with administrative privileges and the computer is restarted upon completion.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with!

Thank you Atha T., we appreciate your help!
We purchased the newer recommended model (USB3.1 (USB-A/USB-C) to Dual HDMI Adapter - 4K 30hz/1080p) for some of our employees to relieve their frustrations.
Unfortunately, the new model does not support the Night Light Mode found in system settings. The adaptor prevents Night Light Mode from being applied to the connected monitors which worked with the old model.
Steps:
Accessed System Settings and turned on Night Light Mode
Updated the OS from Windows 10 to 11
Updated the driver
Adjusted various Night Light settings trying to bypass the adapter.
Exhausted all possibilities, other than trying another adapter.
We will test the new driver with Adapter USB32HD2 and let you know how it goes. We still have a few employees using the older adapter that was not releasing memory.
Hello @JACDD
We will be happy to look into this matter further. In the meantime, can you confirm the model you are referring to is indeed the 107B-USB-HDMI?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Atha T
Hello @JACDD,
Thank you for your patience as we investigated if 107B-USB-HDMI is expected to work with the Windows Night Light feature.
Unfortunately 107B-USB-HDMI is not supported with this feature. We also wanted to note that our USB32HD2 is also unsupported with Night Light.
I understand this is not the answer you were hoping to hear and apologize for the inconvenience and any frustration.

I have been experiencing a very similar issue, and wonder if any progress has been made to resolve the issue. I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 Home edition with 2 external monitors connected. My computer freezes 2-5 times a session requiring the USB32HD2 to be disconnected and reconnected to enable the computer. Note every thing locks up when this happens including pointing device, external hard drives, all windows that are open etc.
Dave.
