TB310G2 is not working!

Super disappointed in this product paid $230 for it to be plug and play went 4 hours of trouble shooting from drivers to product drivers to device manager complete trash for the price, will be returning immediately and just upgrade my actual Ethernet adapter on my board, If anyone has the same issue save the money and time. No help and ridiculously overpriced. PC reads it and everything just doesn’t work, Am5 B650 plus MB/ so my hardware is not the issue

Hi there @Xvpr30, I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced.

To function correctly, the TB310G2 requires a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or Thunderbolt 5 host port. Many B650 boards do not have a Thunderbolt port, only USB-C. These two ports physically look the same, but at a protocol level are different. I know you said your motherboard isn’t the issue, but do you mind if I ask what the specific make and model is just to double-check and see if I can spot any potential issues with it?

Additionally, are you able to clarify what you mean by it doesn’t work? As in, is Device Manager seeing it, but it has an error code, or, are you unable to apply an IP config to the TB310G2?
