Dock 116E - MacBook M1 Pro hangs

I connected the 116E USB C Dock to my MacBook M1 Pro. When I connect the dock to my MacBook, the MacBook has no power. The entire application hangs.

There are 2 monitors connected to the dock

DisplayLink 1.10.1 is installed

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty with our 116E-USBC-DOCK. Would it be possible to provide the following information to help determine our next steps?

  • To better clarify the issue, is it just features from the dock that are not working, such as the USB ports and the external monitors, or does the Macbook entirely become unresponsive when connecting the dock?
  • What version of MacOS is being used?
  • What are the make and models of the monitors connected to our dock?
  • Which ports on the dock are the monitors connected to? I.e. Video 1 HDMI, Video 2 DisplayPort, etc.
